I f you have warranty on this please call them, you have a defective D/W.Unless there is no charge for repairs ,don't spend a dollar on what is going to be a on going problem ahead. To explain how to fix this is what the manufacturer should have done in the factory and not made 1 dollar off of this defective D/W until it proved this to be ready .What has happened to Quality Control ? Does it no longer matter ? Very sorry ,you should seek a refund ASAP.

I have DW60CDX2 , Turning on but buttons are not responding when I pressed buttons?

Hi,

from what I'm seeing for the dishwasher, an E1 error means that the door is not properly closed. So, please look at the door of the machine to make sure that nothing is broken or that the dishwasher isn't too full. Thank you.

Insignia ns-55l260a13 does not power on. Power led blinks 5 shorts, pause, 2 shorts and stays on. Screen blinks and nothing else happens afterwards.

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Dishwasher bottom part works top part all lights are on and wont work

I'm assuming its a fisher and paykel, you will certainly need more info. Do you have an led display or 3 buttons and lights. Any fault codes, flashing beeping when buttons are pressed etc. If everything is normal no unusual beeps lights etc but nothing AT ALL happens when you press start it is the door 'switch' which is actually a light that is reflected through a plastic prism and back to itself ( originates from the board) check the prism top right drawer frame. Just compare to working drawer. If not more info required.

New World Integrated Dishwasher DW60 E4 flashing and beeping. Managed to get it going for a while with a d/w cleaner, it filled, water heated but then E4 error kept flashing and it stopped, had to...

Sounds like the drain pump has jammed - probably a bit of broken glass or a fruit pip, etc. isolate electricity supply, lie the machine on its back, after removing as much water as possible with a sponge etc, remove the base plate if fitted and the small drain pump should be removable, either secured with screws or just a simple 'twist' bayonet cap fixing. Check for blockages / foreign bodies in pump.
If not pump, ie you can hear it running on drain cycle, check drain hoses and plumbing for blockages. Remember there are usually two pumps, the bigger one is the wash pump. Some machines use 1 pump only, and reverse the direction of rotation for wash / drain. A foreign body in these pumps often rips all the rotor vanes of and you will need a new pump.

We have a kenwood kdw12st3a dishwasher - ever since we have had it, it has been nothing but trouble. It constantly flashes e4 so we have tipped it and drained the water out of the bottom (as advised) and...

To clear the fault you need to remove the two baskets from the dishwasher.

Slide it out from under the worktop and lean it forward to about 45 degrees.

If it is already full of water, turn on the power whilst pushing the programme button, this sets up a pump out program

New world DW60-flashing lights

This dishwasher uses the program lights a s a fault code. Usually it is due to food jamming the impeller. If you are competent you can get at it from underneath. Mine was under warranty when this happened and the engineer was heard to say, 'this is a dishwasher not a waste disposal'. The engineer cleared it with a wire coat hanger down the drian hole inside the machine. Not happened since we really scape off plates.
