Error 633 when installed new broadband modem, before this problem happen, i having use another broadband like (celcom broadband from Malaysian country and no problem with this broadband). When i going back to Indonesian and install new broadband and error 633 come-out. Please help me what is problem.

The root of the problem is believed to be caused by the RAS PPPoE file raspppoe.sys found in the folder C:\Windows\System32\Drivers. To fix this problem, we will have to replace the file raspppoe.sys with a new one. Try to copy the file from your friend's computer which has Windows 7 installed. Alternatively, you can download the raspppoe.sys file from this site (thanks to the author). After you get the file, before pasting it into C:\Windows\System32\Drivers, be sure that you rename the original file to something like raspppoe_ori.sys, so that if something weird happen you have a backup of your original file. Paste the new raspppoe.sys into the directory after you've renamed the original file. Try to connect your modem and it should work fine now.

This error means The modem is not installed or configured for Dial-Up Networking. You need to check for modem driver in your device manager and if not present do install it

Power off the broadband modem and your laptop, wait 30 secs then power up the broadband modem until the modem has restarted, then boot up the laptop.

i got a problem regarding the celcom broadband. the problem was happen since yesterday. i left my notebook for along time (may be about 20 hours) where i am not to turn off the celcom broadband. when i come back and see to my laptop, it's already shutdown. when i turn on the laptop.. the error problem pop up at my laptop screen. the error shows :
access violation 004A1170 in module UImain.exe. Read of address 0000051c'
please help me to solve the problem. i cannot access the broadband as previously. Thanks :(

The ZTE modem when initially connected to any system loads as a storage device which contains the software necessary to install the modem. Connect the ZTE and open it in Explorer. Double click the setup file (.exe) to start installation. Follow instructions and allow installation to complete. The modem is automatically installed during this setup. Once completed restart and then your ZTE functions as a modem.

Here is a tip to work normally your modem, transfer it to another PCI Slots in the Motherboard and install again with the driver freeware provided. See to it that no other programs run on the system that interrupt your modem installation and diagnose it.

Try to install Avira Free antivirus and Malwarebytes antimalware. Update and scan. Or you can try to install hijackthis to view running processes in your system.

Or you can try to take out the harddrive and scan it to another computer with a good known antivirus.

You'll just need to update or reinstall the driver for the modem. Make sure to click on "Continue Anyway" when it prompts you about digital signing.
