I have a Sony Cybershot and accdentally deleted the pictures on the camera's memory stick... I have heard there are free ways to recover it, but can't do it. Please Help!! Both my kid's B-Day pictures from last week were on it! Thanks in advance.

First of all, do not save any new file to camera's memory card.

Take out memory card, and connect it to computer using a card reader. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in Windows Explorer.

Install and open the photo recovery software, select the memory card, and click 'Start' button.

First take the memory card out of the camera. Pictures that have been deleted are probably still there, but will be overwritten if you take any more pictures on top of them.

Your camera is not able to undelete pictures, but there are programs for doing this on a computer. You can put the memory card into a card reader attached to a computer, and use an undelete program to recover the deleted files. If the pictures are very important to you, you might want to seek help from an experienced person.
