Hello,
The problem might be from your phone model. It is possible that your LG is not compatible with your car bluetooth. But most Nokia brands are compatible with car bluetooth.
I don't know how you did the connections, but crosscheck by following the below steps.
Things You'll Need:
* Bluetooth-enabled cell phone or MP3 player
* Bluetooth-enabled car stereo
* Car stereo manual
Power on the Bluetooth on your car stereo and cell phone. The Bluetooth may always be on in your car, but it may be disabled on other devices to conserve battery power.
Open up the menu of your cell phone and have it "discover new devices."
Select your car stereo from the options your device provides.
Enter in the "Pairing Code" for your car stereo into your device. In most cases you will find the pairing code in your car's manual. if you don't know the code try using all )'s.
Try playing a song once your device indicates it is paired with your stereo. If it doesn't work try Steps 2 to 4 again.
Though you may know how to do this, but check if you've not missed any step.
If the above doesn't solve the problem, then obviously, your car bluetooth and LG phone are not compatible.
Good luck.
