The fan on the inside ac unit wont come on is there a reset button

One of the common problems in air conditioners is fan motor bearings going bad and the fan motor shaft is locked up stalling the motor or preventing rotation. Another cause of fan motors not running could be the motor start capacitor. The capacitor is needed to give the motor a jump start to get it rotating. If you can get access to the fan squirrel cage and can spin the fan ok, the motor bearings are then good. Most likely the problem then is a bad motor start capacitor that can be replaced. In very rare cases the motor winding itself could be bad and the fan motor will need replacement. regards, Dennis

Exahaust fan not working

The best thing to do is buy the replacement motor. It is usually a pretty simple thing to change out and it sure beats having to take down the whole thing. Here is an article on finding the right motor. http://nutoneproducts.blogspot.com/2009/05/nutone-bath-fan-motor-replacement.html

Replacement motor

your blower fan screws onto the end shat of the motor. Now the direction? It could be reverse threads. Since you are changing out the motor stick a screw driver in the old motor to lock it up and try righty-lefty to loosen your fan. don't damage the fan with tools. Go here and see if your fan is shown www.repairclinic.com

Lasko E20739 Fan

It sounds like the electronic controls have put the fan into "breeze mode". The fan turns slowly then is supposed to surge back to high. Some people love this feature for some reason...
Disable breeze mode via your remote (its the button with the stacked ~'s).

A bad motor wouldn't rotate at all. The only other problem might be the motor's running capacitor. If you can start the fan in either direction (give it a hand spin in the opposite direction of rotation) you have a bad capacitor...and you can find a replacement anywhere (Radio Shack).
