Hi 737, The horizontal output IC is a big black 3 pin IC.

Hi 737, the horizontal output IC is a big flat 3 pin IC that is heat sink to a aluminum piece that is soldered in place.

Take the back off, flip the board over, check the IC also could be a cold solder joint. Re-solder it if you suspect bad joint, if not desolder it and remove. You can order it at www.MatEletronics.com. 1-800-628-1005. Give them the number of it. Thanks for choosing FixYa....John

Horizontal lines and blurred pics.---- when seen in scren pics are clear but as soon as u click it either becomes blurred or shows horizontal lines. sometimes i find blank. i wud like to know the reason...

Hi!
It's a lens shutter problem. There are usually two causes - a broken shutter cable (it moves inside the lens as you zoom - as the lens move) or stuck shutter blades - if wet or something adhesive got in. If the shutter doesn't work, the camera cannot control the amount of light taken, so the pictures if taken in normal or bright conditions are very bright and have horizontal lines. I'm afraid you will have to give it away for a repair. Both problems are considered hard to repair and could end up with changing of the shutter or lens. It should be an expensive repair so I would just get another camera.

the problem there is a loose connection on the board,you said that you smacked the right side of the tv and it goes normal.there are parts that should be resolder on the board in order to back into normal operation.
