After watching tv for a while I loose the color??

Try resetting the color in the TV menu. Also a loose or damaged wire and cable can distort the TV picture. Check the cable that you are using for that input and be sure it is not damaged or loose. You can also unplug the TV for 10 minutes and see if that resets the issue

• There is a loose soldering connection in the Main Board. That happens because the components on the are generating a lot of heat therefore melting solder connections.
• Stop beating on the TV's back, that only makes the problem worse.

• Take it to a shop.Or if you are a tech, try locating the loose connection(s) and solder it back.
• Also check your Warranty Period, It may cost you 0$. Call Vizio if you still have Warranty on the TV.

if you are getting color on the screen, chances are that you might have a cable loose. I'm not sure if you are using component cables but sometimes when the blue cable is loose, it will cause a green screen. or if you are trying to watch something above your TV's capabilities, this will happen as well.

Good day sir, your inquiry about the green lcd screen can be caused by several things. 1. The monitor/tv produces 3 colors, red green and blue, the tv mixes these three colors to produce the picture. a loss of red and blue produces this green screen. so check the cable, specially the red and blue jack of the component inputs, and the red and blue cable. 2. there may be loose contact on the signal cable. try using the video input instead of the component input. 3. the dvd player may have the problem, check the player component out jack. a loose jack port can cause these problem. hope this may help. thanks

I would double check your wire connections sounds like a loose cable.

Your unit is still worth. It may be a caused of loose contacts along the circuitry. It can be remedied by resoldering the terminals particularly the chroma section and the crt circuit.

You need to replace the color crystal (frquency is 3.579545 mhz) problem is I do not know which one it is... sorry. If you have the schematics for the TV it should be easy to locate but... you don't. See if the crystals in your TV are marked with a frequency. If not, try replacing one at a time... if the problem goes away your all set, if it does not or gets worse put the old crystal back and try it in the next. Do this at your own risk and watch out for that large red wire going to the picture tube!! Even when the TV is unplugged it can kill you!
