No power my fone is not turning on

Hold down volume down + power at the same time for 30 seconds... that should reset it without losing your data.

you can try a cold reboot that where u have the fone turn on
and then you take out the battary while the
fone is turn on it fixed many erorr.

if not if need to be refashed as the software may have eroor in it.

or the fone has water danage

Sir 1st u have to plug in charger and then try to turn on ur fone.2nd get a charged new 1 battery and then try to turn on.after do this if ur fone does not turn on then its mean ur fone has hardware problem so go to a certified mobile phone repairer.vote for mee

hard reset your fone...before doing that though, sync all your contacts, msgs, pre-installed apps. Hard reset doesn't format mass memory so stuff in your mass mem will stay intact - maps, apps in mass memory, photos, videos etc. Hard reset is a good tool if you want to ease up the fone memory...you will need hard reset sometimes anyways because the n97 tends to freeze - its fone memory fills up somehow when you download apps even though u r installing them on mass memory.

to hard reset:

1. turn your fone off
2. press caps,delete, space and power button at the same time.
3. fone restarts and is reset.

Hard resetting somehow eases up the GPS signal. I did that and now it connects in seconds (maybe its got to do with fone memory being cleared up). I also read this in a blog somewhere.

all u have to do is while the fone is on take the battery and sim card and or sd memory card out. then put only the battery in and turn the fone back on while holdin down the r botton the fone will then reboot it-self twice then let the r botton go and allow the fone to turn it-self on. the fone will then turn on to the main menu screen and u will not be able to do anything wif the fone till u re-register the fone.

may i know how many years already you use this fone?
to protect ur battery, u better charge when the battery life become 1% and never on the fone during charge.
and remember, dont switch on the battery charge before the battery full.
if not, the battery will damage and you have to buy a new one.

You can reformat your unit.. just follow this instructions. just off the fone then, press together the key no. 3 Astiris and phone in.. press in sustained position then turn on the power switch then you can see your fone is starting to reformat...
your unit has a virus...
