If old need to replace all rollers that feed paper - not an easy job Try changing paper Once you open the package paper attracts water like crazy and gets very humid and it will jam on regular basis Try and keep your paper out of humidity good luck
hi, 1 Turn off the printer. 2.Open all the paper paths[tray] and check for any stuck papers. 3.Check under the cartridges for jammed papers. 4.Power on the printer and try printing.
error 6000 is a paper jam, which means there is something in the flag that senses whether or not there is paper in the path. Look very carefully in the area just before the paper comes out before the printing area. You will likely find a small piece of paper stuck, or a small object. Often a small inspection mirror helps.
Several things can cause a jam. I can suggest checking the paper path
very well, especially if you have had a jam in the past, a little piece
of paper there could be triggering a sensor and causing the message.
Another thing might be rollers worn out or dirty. If the rollers rotate 3
times and no pick up happen it will show paper jam, try a humid tissue
to clean it.
paper may be jammed in lower tray pull the paper if stuck there, may be at registration *** open the front door take out the tooner & pull out the paper,if it stuck in o/p bin then open the rear door & pull out if altough it shows paper jaamed then blow the air by blower your problem will be resolved
dont use thick photo paper like 230 gsm up, instead use 180 gsm papers. but if you dont want to waste the purchased thick photo papers, you can open the back and manually insert the paper once the printing process started. i tried this as a trial & error basis until i had perfected it.... hope it works with yours.
