Try to check the Print Cartridges if they still have ink in them. or try to do a Semi-Full Reset. combo would be: - "print photo" + "red eye removal" buttons pressed together - printer will not ask you to enter the combo - release the buttons you pressed then - press "red eye", "print photo", "red eye" in sequence - scroll down or right until you find resets menu - press ok - scroll down or right until you find semi-full reset - press ok
- your printer should turn off, wait for 3 minutes before turning the printer back on

Locked up AL-1642CS with blinking Drum Light

the clear key may be stuck which seems to lock up your machine. The procedure to reset the drum lite is clear, auto (exposure setting), clear, auto when hit in a timely manner the display will go blank. Enter 24 then press the start key, then enter 07 and press the start key again. If you can't get the keys to work the circuit board may have cold solder joints.

Light keeps flashing red,amber, green

If you turn off the printer and turn it back on, do you get any noises, ie motor noises, or does it instantly go to all lights flashing?
If you get no noises this usually indicates a board fault and you should look for a new printer.

Press the power button again, shortly after the unit powers on, the lights flash, let go of the two buttons your holding. The screen shoul dnow say "Init EEPROM" if it doesn't repeat procedure till it does. Now press the green colour copy button once, screen should now say "Push power sw" Press and hold the power button, the unit will power off and on again, now release the power button and your printer should be working again. Won't power up

Hi, The owners manual says that if the red light is flashing, it is an indicator that it is ready to be turned on (use remote or onboard on button); flashing red & green - too high temperature inside, the unit is overheated. Check and clean the air filters; If the red light is steady, abnormal condition and you have to call for service. A copy of your manual is available at http://www.eiki.com/resources/resourcedownload.ashx?filename=/ownersmanuals/om_xb25_20_sb20.pdf Hope this be of some help. Pls post again how things turn up. good luck and kind regards.
