Canon Printer Error 5200 may occur if the ink level in your printer is low or if you have a defective ink cartridge. Follow the steps to fix Canon printer 5200 Error code:
·Refill your cartridges/Ink tank ·Clean printer cartridge ·Factory reset printer
Error 5200 unfortunately is a Print head overheat error. Whatever you try to do to fix it will not work unless you replace the print and the main logic board. These two parts HAVE to be replaced as a pair to get the machine to work. However the costs are often more than the machine is worth. To be honest i would scrap it and by another. Its quite an uncommon fault but have seen it before (I am a Canon engineer)
Service error code 5200 is the print head error. Rub the print head into a plain paper with rubbing alcohol until ink flows and then after that remove all the USB cable connection and power cord and plug it again. Then run the print head cleaning maintenance like print nozzle or print alignment.
It should be fine right now. Please let me know if you need more help
Error 5200 is a printhead temperature error, sounds like you need a new printhead. The part number is printed on the side of the printhead. it's a QY6 number
