Motorola RAZR V3 Unlocking Instructions Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Motorola RAZR V3 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Motorola RAZR V3 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.
1 - Switch ON your Motorola RAZR V3 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card,
2 - Phone will display "Enter Special Code",
3 - You can now enter the Unlock Code.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Motorola RAZR V3 is locked to.

WARNING: If one of theses messages appear :

- "Contact Service Provider"
- "Tampert Alter"
- "Wait before enter special Code"
- "Contact Service'

it doesn't matter what the error is... the best thing that you have to do is to call your customer service and ask why are you getting that error message it could be a network problem or it coud be a problem when you try to use your browser or internet... so only the agent can tell you why it appears on your screen... :)

You may want to try updating the software through the Motorola Phone Tools. I don't buy their response, it sounds like they were being lazy.

The problem with the phone is in the firmware. There are a few websites who will flash the phone for you for a fee or you can take the phone to a repair shop to be flashed. The water damaged one will need to be taken apart and cleaned first. If you have any questions i provide these services my self and i would be glad to help!
