Recognizing Sansa e250 on windows vista

Hi i read your tutorial on how to get the Sansa Mp3 player to be recognized onto windows vista, however my under the hardware my computer also recognizes it as a portable device but it gives me this message

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

What should I do from here? Please Reply back thanks!

    my sansa sandisk mp3 player shows up as an unknown usb device not recognized. when i take it off the charger i can not turn it on and while it is on the charger it charges up BUT when i remove it from the charger it won't come on or show anything

    Do you have the sansa connected directly to the usb or through a hub?

Hi there,THe reason it isnt recognizing is becuase of your OS,windows 7 has porblems
recognizing devices such as your mp3 palyer...i reccomend redownloading the software driver and if all else fails return your mp3 palyer..

E250 doesn't read the new 4 gb card I got to put more songs on

your phone may not read SDHC cards... try getting one without SDHC (High Capacity) on it... you may have a 2Gb max size.

Not recognizing my PC

TRY THIS :

In your player's menu, go into Settings, choose USB mode, and change it to MSC. This will cause the player to show up in Windows as if it were a flash drive, and you can add and delete music by drag and drop into the player's Music folder.

Sansa e250 drivers

Hi there , in the settings menu in your player if you go into usb you can change it to msc mode and it will read as a normal usb drive so you can transfer songs etc

Bought refurb

The drivers necessary are part of Windows Media player 10, or higher. As long as you have Windows XP / SP2, or Vista and Windows Media Player, your device will work with your computer.
