The volume icon on my taskbar has been deleted from my computer how can I download it again

Missing icon from taskbar
1. If you have uninstall your Audio drivers from your system the volume icon will not show in the taskbar. You have to reinstall the audio drivers to restore the volume icon back to the taskbar

2. If the your volume icon is missing from the taskbar and you did not uninstall the audio drivers, then go to Start -> Control Panel -> Sounds,Speech, and Audio Devices -> Sounds and Audio Devices ->"Place volume icon in the taskbar" box -> Uncheck & check -> Apply & OK and your volume is restore at the taskbar. (Reboot if necessary)

Speaker icon missing from task bar

Click on the Start button, then click on Control Panel from the right-hand side to delve into your computer's settings. From the Control Panel, click on Sound and Audio Devices to bring up your audio settings. Check the Place volume icon in the taskbar and then click Apply. You should now be able to see your volume icon from the taskbar again.

In Windows and on a Mac, you can use an icon shaped like an audio speaker to adjust the computer's volume or mute the sound output completely.

Whichever operating system you are running, it is possible to remove the volume icon from the screen.

If you have removed the volume icon accidentally, you may not have a convenient way to adjust your computer's sound volume.

Restore the sound icon to resume using it to adjust the volume or mute your computer's sound output.

Click the "System Preferences" icon on the dock.
If you have removed this icon from the dock, click the Apple icon at the top of the screen, then click "System Preferences."


Click the "Sound" icon in the "System Preferences" window.

Place a check in the box at the bottom of the window labeled "Show volume in menu bar."

My dell volume icon is deleted

Hi,
By default, the Volume icon is not displayed when you initially install Windows XP on your system.

To enable the display of the Volume icon, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Sounds and Audio Devices.
  3. Click Show volume control on the taskbar.
  4. Click OK.
When you have the new desktop features of Windows XP enabled, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Sounds, click Speech, and then click Audio Devices.
  3. Click Sounds, and then click Audio Devices.
  4. Click Show volume control on the taskbar.
  5. Click OK.

How do i apply my volum icon to my computer

I am providing the solution by keeping in mind that the sound card driver for your computer has been installed and you want the volume icon to be placed in taskbar.

Please go to control panel -> Sounds and Audio devices -> Volume Tab. You will find the checkbox mentioning "Place volume icon in the taskbar". Check the box and click on apply.

You will be able to see the volume icon in taskbar.

How to get the missing volume of my computer

are you talking about the volume control on the task bar?
if yes, go to START>CONTROL PANEL>SOUND AND AUDIO DEVICES> and under "Device Vloume" tick "place volume icon in the taskbar".
I am presuming that you are using windows XP.

I hope you will see the volume control again on the taskbar.

Sound icon not here

To place a volume icon and sound icon in the taskbar follow these steps.

For Volume icon:
1. On Control Panel, double click Sounds & Audio Devices icon.
2. Select Volume tab
3. Check the box for "Place volume icon in the taskbar"
4. Click OK.

For Sound Icon"
1. On Control Panel, double click Sound Effect Manager
2. Select General tab.
3. Check the box for "Show icon in system tray"
4. Click OK.

The volume on my computer is not working

Try installing the audio driver again, if you do not have this driver on a CD, then you need to download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP or Vista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download the drivers: -

Sound card

go to your control panel and double click sounds and volume. Mark the show icon in taskbar and you got it back
if it is not reolved this way it means system is infected kindly scan it with malawarebytes and combofix that you can download .....its free and legal

ok..go to control panel from start button, settings, and select sound icon..at bottom you can re add that icon to your taskbar..
