I have model #115298-0001 Series #12333264. I need to find replacement screen if available. Also if you have te protective covering.

Google search your manufacturer make and model and the word replacement parts. If one is available, you can find it in the search results. The shopping tab will show you various sellers. You may want to call an appliance store and ask them to order the part for you.

The outer screen on most models is clear and called a protective screen and prevents glare---if it has that it has 2 more screens behind it.

Getting at the outer on is not so easy---the entire frame for the screens has to be removed, the inner screens removed to get at the outer screen to remove it (if 3 screens you can do without the outer one except if it got scratched before--next will be the next screen behind it.

Check with mitsubishi to see if the screen that is damaged is available or not.

• For this deck the users manual for KDC-X395 says to check to be sure the terminals of the speaker leads are covered with insulating tape properly and make sure no wires are accidentally touching another wire or piece of wire. Then you are to reset the unit. If "PROTECT" does not disappear, consult your nearest service center.

It depends on your model but most of the time you need to pop off the plastic RIM around the screen.

Without the make and model, I can't say for sure that a replacement is available that would be affordable. Some plasma sets have a protective covering, some do not. Replacing the plasma panel will be almost as much as replacing the entire set.
Please post the make and model.
