Lenovo n500 forgot bios password - Lenovo 3000 N500 Notebook

I do google your problem and look to the lenovo G500 manual.

BIOS password problems I forgot my password. • If you forget your user password, you must ask the system administrator to reset your user password. • If you forget your HDD password, a Lenovo authorized servicer cannot reset your password or recover data from the hard disk. You must take your computer to a Lenovo authorized servicer or a marketing representative to have the hard disk drive replaced. Proof of purchase is required, and a fee will be charged for parts and service. • If you forget your administrator password, a Lenovo authorized servicer cannot reset your password. You must take your computer to a Lenovo authorized servicer or a marketing representative to have the system board replaced. Proof of purchase is required, and a fee will be charged for parts and service.


But in my own way of troubleshooting.
1. open your Lenovo G500
2. Check your motherboard and look for bios/cmos battery.
3. Remove the battery
4. Get flat screw driver then put it between two pins where the cmos battery attached.
5. Hold it for 10 to 15 sec.
6. Put the cmos battery back and the motherboard
7. Power it up and holla the bios setting has been reset to default.

it's is locked because it is password protected. if it's not for you, ask the owner for the password.

Even if you enter the BIOS and attempts to remove the HDD password, You will still need to produce the password before you can disable it.

The only simple way to Erase the forgotten Bios Password is to Reset the CMOS Battery.

usually such games frightfully raise the temperature of the CPU . and some settings on BIOS controls speed of cooling fan and the threshold temp Not to be exceeded to protect the CPU,try to check them

Turn on your computer. Press F2, while the initial screen is displayed.
The BIOS Setup Utility screen opens.

Boot priority order look for your had disk here.
order should be
1. cd rom
then 2. hard disk
then 3. usb or network boot device. anything bellow doesn't really matter much.

Download OME Driver from internet. Create ISO disk with win xp or any os.

For fdisk utility Boot from xp bootable cd,Go to the repair option.In this section you have to mention username & password.Then start Fdisk /f utility.
