No picture We only see black and grey sections. We can not get menu to come up or anything. We called the 18882578899 number. It is no longer in service. Please help us!

If the sound bar is missing and speakers are grayed out--if using a box means a setup option there is causing this.

If in set means a similar issue---most likely is a cable box if used is disabling the sets menu for this.

You may if using a box want to disconnect all connections to the set and unplug both set and box to see if after a wait both will reboot when plugged back in.

As a last resort with the model number call Toshiba customer service.

The water has ruined the LCD, water and electronics seldom mix, you are lucky it still will at least take pictures. If it is a high end model then send it back to the Factory repair center listed in the user manual (or phone number to find a repair center).

Right click on the picture, choose Format picture at the bottom of the pop-up menu. Choose Picture Color on the left side of the dialog box and click on the Presets button under the Color saturation section. Click on the first box on the left (grey scale). Click Close on the dialog box and your picture should be in grey scale.

It will be good to check the capacitor on the +B voltage that goes to the power section in the main board. A filter capacitor of about 47mF/160 V can be defective.
Next check the capacitor on the HT line to the grid-22mf/250V replace.
If possible loop on capacitors in the horizontal section particulary the IC.
Now the tip I can offer:
If the fault occurs on heating shcek out htis area to confirm and isolate the component.
But finally I understand that when you press any key the picture is good.If so check the memory IC/cmos IC in this section for logic control, it might be having a switching fault, a conflict or the video noise is coming on in default but goes off in the data selection mode. Do a soldering around this section on the IC , capacitor and see if the fault goes off or becomes irregular when this section is heated, if so there is a semiconductor producing this noise error .
So start from the begining so that we have a clean voltage inside.

Let me know 1st, is there Live Picture in camera mode ok? I mean can you see live scene/ picture in viewfinder?
If NO, problem is in camera section and it has hardware problem.

sounds like your display panel has gone out. Call your customer service number, and ask for tec support.

Not able to print a status page. Tried holding down menu 5 sec and no output. I searched the menu and am not able to find how to print status page. I did print out a demo page and the black is great but when i print out text (like the entire menu map) the black is grey. Let me know if there is anything else I can do.
