would think you need to replace the cable board etc. the signal is not getting in and out right. can also be a fault on the power board giving the wrong volts so would check this to. it will tell you on the board what volts is supposed to be. the 5v and 12v should be spot on other volts will vary a little. also check the capacitors for the caps to be bowed up and a brown/ yellow gunk around them and under the board this can be a sign they are failing.
If you want to know if these spots are on the sensor. Or you want to exclude this, You could try this:
Put the camera in A priority. (manual mode). Turn the aperture to the highest setting. Greatest figure like f 22 I can't find the exact figure. It could be it is only 8. Then in a bright light, take a picture of a white sheet of paper. The picture that comes out, should be checked on dark spots. If they are there the spots are on the sensor. If you can't find the spots on the white picture, something else is wrong.
It sounds like you may have connected the dvd/video combo to the wrong spot on the television. The yellow wire cannot be placed into the green hole. You'll get a picture but it will be in black and white. You can only connect these yellow, red, and white composite wires to a component input spot on this television in order to get a color picture.
I feel Most of DLP's getting this issue. Please tell me If the black & white dots are blinking.... To see it you need to put very clearly focused A4 sheet. If some dots are blinking .... most of time DLP chip is bad or getting bad.. IF can please upload a very clear picture......
no this is a problem with your Optical block your LCD chips have gone bad you need to replace this part to fix this issue the bulb will not solve this kind of issue
yes it will keep geting worse the dlp is is going bad the mirrors on it are getting stuck they may appear as black dots or white dots. the dlp ic needs to be replaced
your dlp ic is going bad and needs nto be replaced. some of the mirrors are getting stuck they will appear as black dots or white dots. it usually starts as one or two and will continue to get worse over time.
If this white spot is always exactly the same, but moves off the picture when you start to digital zoom and not optical zoom, there is probably something on the sensor. You mentioned that when zooming, eventually it moves. Are you in digital zoom mode at that time? (The switchover from optical to digital zoom is automatic, but you can disable it). Is this white spot blurry or sharp? Can you see fringes of the image at the edges? (This would suggest something on the lens).
If there is a piece of dust inside the lens ,you may be able to see it looking down the lens. How big is this spot?
Either way, if the camera is new, can you still return it?
