hello, amigo if the all the caps are godd then you have to replace the power supply board. don't try to fix it this is not an easy task. you are looking at almost $200.00 with tax an shipping. just go to google and type your tv model # and ask for the power supply board or just look for the part# on the board itself.
good luck
the ssb is located on bottom middle when looking at back of tv with back cover off. has inputs and tuner on it. part number is 313926727671 and is buyable through vancebaldwin.com. when replacing a small signal board and you don't have picture you need to enter 062598 menu (diversity code which is 3 digit numeric code located on option code sticker on panle itself). hope this helps dan
with most startup issue with this model there usually is a blink code sequence on power led on front of set. regardless of sequence though you would want to isolate problem by disconnecting y main from power supply and check voltages on power supply and if they come up replace the y main and y buffer boards located on left side of tv looking from back and if voltages do not come reconnect y main and disconnect x main and check voltages again and if still not coming up reconnect and verify vs on command on pin 2 of logic interconnect and if 3 volts present replace power supply and if 0 volts present replace ssb
replacing ssb for 4 blink error was correct as error is communication failure specific to micro processor on ssb. getting an alternate error after replacing ssb would suggest either wrong ssb or defective ssb. verify vendor number on ssb tuner on original and new ssb and if same reorder that board and if not order per original board
Regards Has already received a question for the Philips plasma television from yrush member had asked about the location of damaged Crystal View I should send him service Manuel If he wants With greetings

The SSB is small self contained board that u connect your Antenna, and HDMI to. An error three is a communication error between the SSB and to Logic board ( located underneath the SSB on the back fo the plasma panel that is just below the power supply. U can check parts.com and see if u want to purchase a SSB for this TV. Is the 3blinking lights coming from the front of the TV. Also check the power supply and see how many times the green led blinks on the upper left of the power supply and let me know.
This what to do measure from the logic board which is located under the small signal board and have the AV jacks connected to it. If the voltage is 3.1 or close the problem is with the power supply or a boar connected to the power supply. Unplug the set. Disconnect the Y main board first that will be on the left side of the set facing the back. Plug the set back in if the led is solid replace the Y main and the Y upper lower. If still blinking plug the Y main back in and unplug the X main which is on the right side facing the back. If the led is green replace the X main. If the led is still blinking replace the power supply. But if the volts are 0 the problem is the SSB or the logic board. In that case take the (SSB) small signal board out the set and place 1 jumper on J8003 and another jumper J8004 of the left side of the power supply. Then place 1 jumper on CN2072 of the lower left part of the logic board. Plug the set back in if the set displays a white, blue ect screen replace the SSB. If not and on the logic board you don't have 1 solid blue led and 1 blinking led data is not flowing and change the logic board.
