I have a portable air conditioner... "brand" (everstar).. model MPA08CR.. I DO NOT HAVE THE INSTRUCTION.. SO I NEED HELP THE FAN WORKS WELL BUT COOL MODE DOES NOT, IT FLASHES A RED LIGHT WHICH INDICATES "WATER FULL" BUT THIS IS WHAT I DON'T GET IT I PUT WATER IN THE TRAY LOCATED ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND NOTHING HAPPENDS THE RED LIGHT WON'T CHANGE ...... SO I DON'T KNOW IF THERE IS SOME OTHER TRAY BESIDES THIS ONE FULL OF WATER AND I JUST DON'T KNOW WHERE IT IS............... PLEASE HELP ME
ERR - the tray full light means that it should be emptied, not filled.That tray is the condensate from the cooling process that a window unit would drip outside. Since yours is a portable unit, it collects it and alerts the user when it is time to empty it.

I have the mpa08cr, it works ok but it is now taking less time to fill, and it is leaking from under or the rear . please help. I am trying to find at least a phone number for repairs.

I had the same problem...I was going to get rid of the unit...I notice that tha red light on the little screen on the top was on...then I closed the tray (all this time I though it was closed) all the way and the red light went off and the unit started cooling! I hope this may help you.

seems to be same problem. Everstar portfable air conditioning unit. condensation try and overflow pipe emptied. Hot air comes out. Works fine, it appears, other than to cool. Needs to be recharged? How to do this? can it be done by non-technical person?
The point is: the water collection bin is empty, but the blinking light says it needs to be emptied. How do we reset the light?
