What you do is tighten down the spud on the oven safety valve.
Get a good wrench and in the case of propane or LP you tighten down clockwise on that spud. Then open the air shutter all the way.

Then I tweak it by opening it a hair till the flame just gets about halfway up the flame spreader, any more than that and the food will burn on bottom any less and it will take an hour to blind bake a pie shell.
I went back carefully over the conversion directions and that is the one thing I overlooked. The photo was done poorly and didn't really highlight the oven burner spud but showed the broiler spud quite clearly. Turned it down, opened the air shutter all the way and it works great.
Checked my email after I was done and you posted the answer. Good photo also. Anyone who reads this before changing theirs to LP gas, I would recommend turning this down while you are converting the regulator. It's right there (at least on this model anyway).
Thanks again
Thank you
TheMobilians explanation and Youtube posting were very helpful. These all-in-one instructions have gone cheap on specifics. Mine in no way showed where the spuds for the stove burners were located. The Yuotube posting stopped me from bringing my old stove back into the house.Thank you. DonAhj.
