I have compaq C716TU Laptop We downgrade it from Window Vista to Window XP need Sound Driver Sound Speakers are not working

maybe you not install all drivers on your laptop so that your sound not working...

You need to download the audio driver from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Use this link to download the drivers

Rolling back from Vista to XP may require the driver from Microsoft called MICROSOFT UAA DRIVER. Most regular drivers won't load without this driver being loaded first. You can also check the internet for others in the same boat trying to roll back their systems from Vista to XP.
