I had the same issue wit my champion toilet the issue was finally resolved by using a plastic drain snake and cleaning out the flush tube at bottom of drain (1" hole at bottom of drain facing toward front of toilet) mine was restricted down to 1/2" "bad casting I think"

Relace flush valve seal

The American Standard Cadet 3 flowise one piece toilet uses a flapper valve with a soft nylon washer to seal against the water outlet.
Over time this nylon washer develops 'puckers' causing water to seep between the nylon washer and the seat of the flapper. This seepage causes the water level in the tank to drop to a point where the water inlet valve opens to replace the lost water in the tank.
There are two ways to correct this problem:
1. Replace the soft nylon washer on the flapper, or
2. Replace the entire flapper valve.
Hope this solution helps.

I bought a toilet from homedepot in toronto 6 months ago. from yesterday, it keeps to refill the tank like every 10 seconds. but i can not see where the water leaks

There are a few likely causes for a toilet to leak and refill. The most common is the flapper not seating properly. Usualy on an American Standard it is a disc. Either way, they are fairly easy to replace. One test I use to see if the leak is comming from the flush assembly is to put a couple drops of food coloring in the tank and wait a few minutes to see if it appears in the bowl. If so, there is a leak in the flush assembly, usualy the flapper. Hope this heps. Please vote to let me know.

We have just recently purchased one of the American standard cadet at home depot from a discount flyer and had it for about a day and took it back.

Like you said, Did not notice Any thing like a strong flush.

RECOMENDATION:

Take it back.

Home Depot also sells a Kohler Toilet 1.6 Gallon Flush Install
This is all it said it was. It saves water for sure and has a quick flush.

We liked it so much we purchased two of them because everyone in the house only wanted to using our bathroom.

Hope this tip helps.

I have a American Standard Cadet three, it flushes properly but the bowl does not fill up with much water unless I hold down the handle....is this normal?

in the tank check that the small white hose is not kinked or has fallen away from the center tube where the flush flapper is located the white hose goes into the center and fills the bowl
