its a flex problem. The flex that connects the screen to the phone board is probably weak or has loosed contact.

This kind of problem is common with slide and flip phones. The flex worn out or get damaged because of the constant opening and close of the phone.

I would advice that you take the phone to a repairer to fix the problem for you.

your cellphone is fine. Its the strip which needs to be replaced.
actually the strip connects the LCD and the navigation keys.
U might have noticed sometimes your navigation keys also don't work.
get your strip replaced n your cellphone will be fine again.
slide up the phone and you will see 2 screws at the top.
get these screws removed and replace the strip and also do change these screws after the repairing.

sounds like the cable is loose and just not getting a good enough connection just because you said after taking it apart it works for a few day then sarts acting up again

This sounds like a flex cable issue. You will need to have a tech examine the device to see if the flex cable needs replacement.
