My dual cooling system is not functioning properly anymore. Im not sure what is wrong? This was fixed at Lowes originally and then sold as is because there was a repair. It seems as if this is the same problem. My refigerator stays cool, but not like it should. One side of the cooling system now has ice build up in the vents on the backwall of the inside of the unit. Also when it makes ice, the ice seems freezerburnt. The ice cubes are not smooth anymore.

SOURCE: SAMSUNG RS253BAWW NOT WORKING

the ice maker wont cycle untill the temp of the ice is around 10 degrees so if the freezer is at 15 or 20 due to some other malfunction then you will see the maker full of ice but it wont harvest and make another batch. so you could have a sensor bad, control malfunction, refrigeration issue, compressor, defrost system malfunction(you mentioned ice build up)

SOURCE: samsung refrigerator RS2534WW ICE MAKER DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERL

Hello here is how to fix the problem, first you have to remove the ice bin then then press the freeze temp and power cool buttons for about 12 seconds until the display panel switches to the option mode and you hear a beep.

A number under "Frige temp" corresponds to the option number. Press the fridge temp. button to increase the number and the power cool button to increase the number and the power cool button to decrease the number. set the option number to 3

now you have to select the input data to control the water supply time. Press the freeze temp button to increase the value. Press the power freeze bottom to decrease the value. Choose the right amount of water supplied to the ice tray which should be to where the water level is even with the rib on the inside of the tray.

input data = 00, 5 secs/01, 4 secs/02, 3 secs/ 03, 6 secs/ 04,7 secs/05,8secs

Let em know if this helps or not.

It is probably low in refrigerant that means there's a leak in the seal system , you should contact subzero beacause they give a 10 years warranty on this.

Can I temporary seal my water pump if it leaks

It is generally not recommended to try to temporarily seal a leaking water pump. Water pumps are an essential component of a vehicle's cooling system, and a leaking water pump can cause serious damage to the engine if it is not repaired promptly.

If you are experiencing a leak from your water pump, the best course of action is to have the pump repaired or replaced as soon as possible. This will ensure that the cooling system is functioning properly and that your vehicle is safe to drive.

Trying to temporarily seal a leaking water pump with a sealant or other type of temporary fix may only provide a short-term solution and could potentially cause further damage to the pump or other parts of the cooling system. It is important to address the issue properly and have the water pump repaired or replaced as needed to avoid potential engine damage.

If you are not experienced with repairing water pumps or other cooling system components, it is generally recommended to seek the assistance of a qualified mechanic or a dealership. They will have the knowledge and expertise to diagnose the problem and recommend the appropriate course of action.

Lg dual inverter stuck in defrost

It sounds like you were experiencing an issue with one of the indoor units on your LG dual inverter air conditioner, where it was stuck in defrost mode while the other unit was working properly in heating mode.
It sounds like you've already replaced the control board of the indoor unit that was stuck in defrost mode and it fixed the problem. The control board is responsible for controlling the various functions of the air conditioner and it is a common cause of malfunction in air conditioning systems.
It's great that you've been able to fix the issue, but if the problem comes back or you're experiencing other issues, it's best to contact LG's customer service or a professional technician for further assistance.
It's important to note that troubleshooting and repairing air conditioners can be dangerous, especially if you're not familiar with the device, so it's best to contact a professional technician if you're not comfortable working with it.

2008. Why isn't the air conditioning working better?

When the compressor is replaced it should have had at least 2oz of oil inserted into it. The entire system should have been flushed to remove any foreign debris ( especially if the original compressor/clutch failed ). The system then needs to be vacuumed down to remove any moisture for a minimum of ten minutes and then leak tested to ensure vacuum holds. The system is then filled with the proper charge of freon and oil and then monitored for guage pressures and signs of leaks to ensure proper operation and effective cooling

We charged the system, with freon 2 4 onces, the compressor didn't go on , there is no cold air.checked fuses, relay. still no go. what next thanks jim

Ouch, are you sure the AC system was running with freon originally? it seems to me that it'd be running on R 22, which is an environmentally friendly gas, freon is illegal in all of north america for car AC use, im surprised you'd recharge it with freon.
Did you recharge it yourself with one of them self charge kits?
if it stopped cooling, first you should have it checked by an AC shop for a leak, thats the main reason it stops cooling, gas has escaped from the system, your vaporizer may not be functioning properly anymore either.
Have it checked by an AC pro before you ruin the system, then you'll really be in for a fork out of a few hundred bucks...
Good luck...

I have a 1996 honda prelude i have changed everything in the coolant system and it still over heats what could possibly be causing this

im sorry to tell you that after changing all components in cooling system, (Im assuming this included the waterpump?) your problem is most likely being caused from cylinder head gasket failure. Removal of the cylinder head to replace this gasket should only be undertaken by a very mechanically minded person. Good luck.

The heater on my A6 1.8 petrol doesnt get warm just constantly blowing cold air,I've bled the cooling system recently had a new water pump and thermostat fitted and still no heat. the heater control unit...

There is a heater core valve on vehicles that have a dual zone, ( climate control ) systems. The valve is in the area of the heater core.

Something to try. allow the engine to run for 6 to 8 minutes with the heater wide open, then, turn the engine off and reach back and feel the 2 hoses at the firewall that lead to the heater core. If only 1 is hot you do have some blockage, if both are hot then it is circulating properly and your problem lies somewhere else.

Dual zone systems also have a split door between the heater core and a/c evaporator that often stops functioning properly and it can block the hot air comming from the core.

Hi, This is happen because : 1. You may bought a non original controller. 2. You may always engage the vibration function. Sony dual stick controller ( analog stick) has fine cables inside controller. The imitation ones even smaller. While you use the vibration function for long time, it make some cables apart.
Suggestion :- Use only original dual stick controller ( analog stick). Don't engage vibration function for long time - I believe you can reconnect the wires inside controller ( so just fix it yourself) and play..

Over heating and radiator leaks. overheats after sitting at idle for around ten minutes. its a 5 speed manual transmission 2000 chevy 2 dr cavalier.

if there is a leak then of course you will get overheating from the engine..Be very careful as this can cause permanent damage to the head gasket and it will cost a lot more to fix..First try to stop this leak before you proceed further.
