hi im josh in cebu phils. may i help you? As a mobile phone techinician, Friend i will say that the problem centers on your phone and not on the sim card. You phone is locked to the network of that SIM or commonly mentioned "not open line" thats why the software or the phone doesn't recognizes the SIM you are using because it is locked. To solve this problem you may go to your network provider and ask for assistance of opening the line of your phone so that you can use any sim cards you wanted. and your phone will now be unlock or "openline".Thats all friend hope i helped you good luck
Hi have a repair shop, and you know it’s a very common problem on this model.90% of the cases I found liquid damage in the phone damaging the Sim Ic, it’s a little square one near your sim reader, you can also clean around that with a soft tooth brush and mentholated sprits.Don’t fiddle with your sin contact/ reader if no damage visible to the eye.
I had the same problem with my girlfriends 6111. I managed to fix the phone, but i did have to open it up myself and get a new ribbon cable to replace the damanged one. Basically one of the springs had been pushed the wrong way and this was acting like a scissor action on the ribbon cable for the screen. It cuts part of the cable so no image can be seen but power is still sent, thats why it only powers up white. Doing this yourself will void the warrenty but the warrenty on this phone had expired and i was being quoted £35-£40 to get it fixed. I managed to do it for a fraction of the cost!!!
