The easiest thing to do would be to go online and order an aftermarket stereo. You can find them super cheap. I have seen some cd players for about $30.

If you have the code and show proof of ownership to a Ford Dealer, they will normally just tell you how to do it. Have a look on the internet for an Owners guide on the make of radio that you have.
Go to the Ford dealership, 9 times out of 10 they wont even charge you, they can enter your VIN number into thier database and get the code. If you have the owners manual, it should've been in there somewhere.
Check the your owners manual, if your lucky the original owner wrote it down when they bought the care. If not you will need to get the code from the dealer. You might even need to take the car to the dealer to have the radio unlocked. Some auto manufacturers have designed their radios to require a code whenever the battery is disconnected, in order to make the stereos worthless to theives, and thereby discourage theft. Ususally it just creates headaches for the owner of the vehicle.
SOME SLIM CHANCE IF U BOUGHT THE CAR USED THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER WROTE IT IN THE OWNERS MANUEL BY THE RADIO CHAPTER OF THE BOOK OR ON THE 1ST OR LAST PAGES OF IT (LOOK FOR ABOUT 5 TO 6 NUMBERS), IF THAT DIDNT WORK THEN GO TO YOUR LOCAL FORD DEALER WITH YOUR TITLE/REG (PROOF THAT U OWN THE CAR) THEY WILL LOOK IT UP BY THE V.I.N. # OF YOUR CAR. SOMETIMES THEY WANT TO CHARGE YOU
leave the radio switched to the on position, turn your car ignition on to "accessories" and wait for about 20-30 minutes. the radio should change from ERR and offer you to enter the CODE agian. Good luck!
