I have 2 Sony cameras with problems..one is a DSC-T1..there is no picture when in the camera mode..will display pictures made earlier..lcd is blank in camera mode. The other camera is DSC-F717..Camera has hardly been used..in camera mode the lcd only shows a smeared image..the image is not recgonizable. Strange conicidence, but both failed nerly at the same time.

This is common problem of ccd imager chip failure in DSC-T1 camera. Replace ccd imager chip by local camera repair shop to get live view in camera mode to take fresh pictures.

There may be the issue with the CCD (image sensor device) of the Camera.

ok so u are saying that all pics u take are black and blank if u see them on pc , but camera func work fine but pics blank

you can not see clear image in LCD while DSC-T1 is in Camera Mode or camera doesn't take clear picture and can play old pictures clearly.
