Can't charge the batery, It says batery cannot be charged, a sony ericson batery must be used. It's the same batery that came with the phone, but it keeps saynig that i need a sony ericsson one!!! Any ideas? I have bought a new charger, but that does not work either :( Thx

this is sme serious sh*t im just kidding download sonyericsson update service run the program and it should guide u how to update your phone firmware and see if your battery i ok like change into another 1 if u have at home or ask friend tolend u his and see if it still occurs problems with the phone
Try use another battery, see if it charges, if not, the problem is not
battery problem,the problem could be either of any of this two, it
might be a charger problem, i will suggest you try using a similar
charger to charge the phone, see if it will charge, if it is not charger
problem, then, the problem is the charging port of your phone. The
charging port of your phone is bad and will need to be replace. once the
charging port is replaced, the problem is solve.
the sony ericson does that all the time, when it low batery it shutdown unlike nokia it shows empty battery. that normal for sony ericson. beter you have a spear battery.
my phone is the same model and did this but when i charged it, after about an hour it would come up with 'charging error stop ' and when i unplugged it, it hadn't even charged at all. and then the other day it just wouldnt charge, i plugged it in, it said it was charging but it wasnt. in the end, it worked by keeping the phone switched off and charging it while i was turned off. so try that, if not then i really dont know sorry
It should be the software problem. Or the LCD. You can check by charging it. If it charges ok its NOT the software problem. it should be the LCD. and that can be change at the phone shop.
