Liv If you look under the front of the chair below the footrest and can see the lower front of the battery tray there is a 50amp circuit breaker on the front right side of the tray. The circuit breaker is mounted in the tray and I don't know if you have access to it without removing the seat and lower shroud. I have seen very few problems with this tripping unless there are battery issues or old motors drawing too much current. Just don't put the chair in a bind like up against an object and trying to make it go forward in full speed. You shouldn't have problems with a new chair with this tripping. Hope this helps you
