I am looking for the codes to run my t.v. my t.v. brand is Panasonic and the universal remote I am using is RCA RCU800MS 8-Device Universal Remote. I lost the code book and was wondering if I could get the codes?

Type in the "brand name" of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window to get gathered all the related posts to this brand devices. It will make surf easy.

I'm not sure which remote and device you have. The header says a GE remote and the text says RCA remote. I'll provide locations for both types of remotes.

Try the following web site: http://remotefinder.rca.com/default.aspx?site=rca for RCA universal remotes. Enter the model of the remote as well as the brand and type of device to be controlled.

GE Universal remotes use either a three or four digit code. Find the code lists here: http://www.jascoproducts.com/support/universal-remote-codes.asp . Then determine if you have #24912 remote or which of the remote code lists that applies to your remote.

The code lists for any given remote will be limited to codes for devices released 6 months or more before the universal remote was programmed. If your device is newer than that date, the codes may not work.
