Problem Faxing sending and receiving faxes

Are you certain you are faxing to a valid number. First verify by using another number that is a known working number and ask if it is ringing on the reception fax.

you need to clean the laser unit of machine

Did you try to check the toner?

Try to print if the copy is lighter than before or it cant copy or print then you need to replace your toner cartridge.

Clean the scanner glass. You probably have some dirt or whiteout on it. Open up the top feeder and look at the narrow glass and you'll probably find it.

Press the "FAX" bottom, press menu, press arrow until you hit "FAX set-up", press OK, press arrow until you hit "sending", press OK, press arrow unti you hit "Send Report", press OK and press arrow to "ON" and press OK and it will saved.

Everytime you faxed something it generate a report.

Nonetheless, I posted in the Live Session a method of verifying the fax sending capability even in the absence of a receiving fax machine.

Replace your USB cable with a good quality, thick USB cable that does not exceed 10ft. Let me know if the problem persists.

Address book from computer is entirely different from the printer.No way you can open the address book in computer from your printer.

Small slit of glass "scanner glass" needs to be spotlessly cleaned, open lid to left 2cm wide runs width of lid.
