I saw a recent video about this on a record juke box and it was linkages and range sensors that needed cleaning. It definitely mentions that the record wasn't being held properly and was wobbling.
Hi Gail, this is actually in the wrong category, as this one is for TV repairs but I've worked on many juke boxes over the years and may be able to help but you may get more help if you ask the question in msc electronics category. I assume this is the model 1015 vinyl jukebox. As far as the bubbles, does the bubble tubes light and no bubbles or they're dark, and sound, I need more information there as well, does the record play and no audio at all, or is it low level, if its low level is it distorted or sound normal just not very loud?
Conect the ipod player to the computer where controls are acquired. For example, the computer would provide accessibilty to the mp3 player. media playes like windows media player, real one player, apple media players, juke box media convertors are the audio, video management software programs on the computer. As long as the computer would acquire media as videos, the computer mediaprofram should provide the transfer buttons between external connectable devices like mp3 players. However, the media players have various compartibilities recognisable as media formats. The mp3 player should have dictated the compartible format that is capable of being encoded. Important notes includes that, mp3 playes would only encode medias that have been loaded onto the computer completely. For example, if wanting to acquire music transfer to the mp3 player device, the music CD has to be extracted first into the computers media player like windows media player from where transferability is achievable into the MP3 player. Usually, the computer media player should state that the feature functionality is capable of MP3 IPOD transfers. For example, once login to the windows media player software, copy available media files from the files library into the player list area to be manipulated as transfers/sync. Also, the media player of the computer should recognise connected media devices with popup logos indicating transfereabilities.
It depends how old it is. On the newer type there are two black tags on the ends of the light tube to help you turn it. It twists 90 degrees then pulls out backwards from the sockets along with the colour tube around it.
On the older type you need to remove a screw or two at the top plate, lean it backwards and lift up and out.
I think I can clear things up for you. The free play switch you're referring to is just to add credits. If you want continuous free play, I sell you a jumper plug to bypass the credit unit, commonally called BOAC, if you have a 3600 series Super Star. Please email [email protected].
I have bubble tubes in stock. You just need to tell me which one you need. I can tell you the replacement procedure also. Please email [email protected].
When the disc is taken from the carousel and put on the player how long does it take for it from the time it is placed onto the player to being returned to the carousel? Also is the cd spinning when its on the player or not spinning at all. The answers to these questions should help in pinpointing the actual problem.
