Hi we just bought a second hand E200 razor electric scooter and it has power but when you stand on , it doesnt have enough power to go. I wanted to find somewhere I can take it to to fix it, not sure if it needs a new battery or a new motor

Hi, check all the connections are clean. It could be the charger is done but some batteries when they get left for a long period without charge they won't take a charge any more. Disconnect from power supply before attempting any inspection. Check the wheels are turning freely and not binding. Then last of all the motor may have to be checked.

Battery powered vehicles like scooters and golf carts have trouble going up hill because smaller electric engines aren't powerful enough or made for nothing more than flat land. You could have a bad battery or the battery isn't being charged enough. I know someone that has a golfcart and it takes approximately 48 hours to charge full. You may want to check the manual about charging times.
If it is a fuse problem then try looking for a fuse box in the controller or charger. If not then take it back, unless stated in the manual that you need to enter a fuse before it will charge, the scooter should charge right out the box.
Another thing you might want to try is to turn the scooter off before charging.
This could be a sign of a dying battery, although it charges and lights the green light it cannot maintain enough juice to power the machine when it has weight on it.
