Hey guys!
I brought some Logitech x540 speakers home with me to Australia (240V outlets) from the States (110V) and plugged them in before realising that I should have plugged them in through a transformer first. I heard a buzz then nothing and now even with the right transformer they won't turn on.
I took it apart to see if I could just replace the fuse but after taking the thing apart the fuse appears to be intact.
Nothing appears to be burnt out or anything so i can't see what is going wrong. Could the internal transformer be blown?
It would be great if someone could give me some assistance! :)

Am sure that the internal transformer is gone, You would have powered your speaker with a step up/step down transformer, you need to see a technician around you that can help you out, you need to replace a 220V-230V transformer in the speaker since your country requires that.

Oh, actually there is white liquid on the tops of some of the capacitors, I think its all blown :( just too much voltage, but why didn't the fuse go off? Is it because of the different current?
Oh good, that makes sense. So if the transformer blew and the fuse on the chipset didn't would the chipset still be intact? Is the thin white substance on some of the capacitors on the chipset normal?
