Print error the machine will process printed pages but no toner is printed on the pages. The cartridge is not empty. I get only blank pages.

If your Ricoh MPC 2011 is printing or copying blank pages when trying to print or copy in black and white, it is possible that the toner cartridge is either empty or defective. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check the toner level: Check the toner level in the printer to ensure that it is not empty or low.

When the toner cartridge is completely empty:
• Toner Empty, Replace Toner1 appears on the display.
• The machine stops printing. Incoming faxes are saved in memory.
At this stage, the toner cartridge needs to be replaced.Check the type of the toner cartridge for your machine. (Page 12.1)

This can be caused by a number of reasons however it is mostly caused by the toner cartridge missing a small spring on one end. Try replacing toner cartridge first.

Most toner cartridges have a pull tab on them to open the flow of the toner. Maybe you didn't pull this tab. Also most machines want you to perform an alignment process for the new cartridge and if you haven't done this it will sometimes cause the printr not to print correctly.
The old printer cartridge may have been so low on ink that it did not print properly.

Try checking the ink cartridges and make sure they have ink in them or it will keep printing blank pages. Then try printing a test page by going to control panel, clicking on printers and faxes and right clicking on your printer and going to properties. Then go all the way down to the bottom of the page and click print test page. It will clean the printer cartridges and align them to print correctly. It should work after that.
