Garmin has moved everything to Garmin Connect. Depending on your device, Training Center may or may not be supported anymore. You can go to the link to read more on Garmin Connect. Also, Garmin now uses Garmin Express to sync and update devices. I'll attach the link. https://www.garmin.com/en-US/software/express
I have similar problems that have only just started.
Together with Training Centre crashes after uploads forcing rollbacks by deleting a history tree file and using a backup...
Tres frustrating...
Brand new device with a manufacturer provided upgrade and it doesnt work? - return it, or contact Garmin directly for a fix. If you start fooling with it, they will not help you. http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/site/us
After deleting all but one month of history on the device, it still would not upload new workouts. It would hang in garmin connect, or indicate problem in training center. The solution, finally, was to delete all history EXCEPT for the new unloaded workouts from the device. They then uploaded.
Hi...once i was asked the same problem!....and we couldn't do anything...i think you lucky because...the one who asked me about the same problem crashed his software forever...i recommend you to go for the warranty...and not to attempt any update...
I think I found the solution to everyones problem of "upload not present" message on the Garmin GPS12** when trying to update the Firmware. I'm really busy - just picked up my daughter from the airport and a million things to do. I will post again in detail maybe later today-tonight.
