I guess you mean the Keypad Lock/Unlock!

You can turn on the keypad lock of a handset.
In idle mode, press * button and then LOCK to turn on the keypad lock. "PRESS UNLOCK TO USE KEYS" is displayed on the LCD.
In keypad lock mode, press UNLOCK to turn off the keypad lock.

To unlock your keypad press the top left key on your keypad and the star (*) key on your keypad, this unlocks the keypad...

Keypad lock: To lock the keypad press Menu then Star (*) key. To unlock the keypad press Unlock (Menu key) then Star (*) key. Press both keys in a fast way.

The lock/unlock button is located along the top of the Tour, on the left side. It has a little padlock icon, and if you press that button it will unlock your keypad!

To prevent accidental key presses, select Menu, and press * within 3.5 seconds to lock
the keypad.

i have a sprint pocket pc-6700 i forgot my keypad password how can i unlock

To Lock your phone
Hold down the # symbol on your phone until it says: "Phone Keypad is now Locked"

To Unlock your phone
The screen should now read in the bottom right hand corner "Unlock". press the corresponding key. It then asks "Unlock Keypad?" "Yes" or "No". Select Yes and press Menu button (also the play/pause button).

I DONT WANT THE AUTOMATIC KEYPAD LOCK..BUT I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE KEYPAD SECURITY CODE SAME AS NOKIA..PLEASE HELP ME..

• do keypad settings:
• go to main menu<settings<security settings<select keypad settings< here u wil get the option for locking or unlocking keypad

 otherwise there might be  some problem with the keypad for this u need to contact LG care center.
