Greetings, I recently tried to use the scanner on my officejet 5610. When I hit 'scan' the screen will tell me 'No Scan Options Refer to device documentations. Press OK'. I have lost all the device documentations so I need a little assistance if you can. Thanks,

HP Officejet 5610 all in one When i try to scan

If you have windows vista and it comes up with the "no scan options" don't press the button on the printer, go to "start" then "accessories" then "paint". This will open up the windows paint program. Go to "File" then click on "From scanner or printer". It will then scan the document, no more problems

When I try to scan it says no scan options. Refer

try installing this with your anti virus disabled scanner drivers have a way of not getting installed because of anti virus programs it helped with mine

No scanning option in my HP office jet 5610 All in One

I had the same problem for months. I couldn't solve it but found a work around. Place the document to scan in the scanner.

Open MS Paint (Start/Programs/Accessories/Paint). Click on File in the menu bar, then from Scanner or Camera. It scans!

How do i scan the documents on to my computer

be sure that your scanner is connected to your computer using a usb wire. do not try to scan wireless. Also, put the scanner disk back in and you will be all set. just answer the prompts.
