You need to be a little more explicit about what you need Jackie. Code programming? for what? what device? or name . . or something more . . try again. You'll probably get plenty of help on this one.

FADING COLORS

After 13 years, the most likely cause is a tired picture tube. There are adjustments that can be made to address this, but they would be short lived. Rather than spend money on this set, put it toward a replacement. After 13 years, the set owes you nothing.

Sony kv-35s42 no picture, good sound timer light flashing

Usually, the CRT is bad......re-juvenation is a temporary fix at best........try adjusting screen control on CRT socket module.

Only other possibility is solder pins of vertical output IC.

Kv-35s42

HI
Don't beat it with a bat LOL, the problem your having is a simple solution, however this would be best left to a qualified tech to do, the Screen Voltage needs to be tweaked up just a tick, I've worked on alot of these sony's and 9 times out of ten thats what it is.

Sony KV-35S42 35" TV

Check first for bad solder on the vertical IC, Im not sure for your set as I do not have the service manual, but it may be location IC301. If after resoldering it does not fix it you may have to replace it and you should replace the electrolytic capacitors in the vertical section. Hope this helps. Don
