Windows could not start the spooler service on local computer when trying to connect hp c309a printer

If you the print spooler isn't working, you can either manually turn it off and on by going into your control panel - Administrative Tools - Services - Print Spooler - Then click the restart button.

The other easy option which usually works is just restarting your computer. This will restart your print spooler as well.

Hope this helps! :)

I have a dell 942 printer, when i try to connect it to my dell computer, i get a message saying there's a problem with the printer spooler no working. How can i fix this?

Go to control panel, adminstrative tools, services, or just run - services.msc In services look for print spooler and start the service. If it will not start go to the dependency tab and check the other services that are dependent on the spooler and start them. Then go back and start the spooler

Unable to get network connections to come up and printer spooler is not allowing to add printers. I recently purchased a aircard from sprint and the service went down and I was asked to install a smartview...

Hello ladynwaiting,

Try uninstalling the smartview software to see if network connections and the print spooler are working with the aircard. If that doesn't work then remove the aircard and reinstall it. Test the connections and print spooler again. The procedure works to reset the components. Finally, if that works, then install the smartview software and retest the connections and spooler. Hopefully your system will repond favorably to the above procedure.

I thank you for giving a rating to this solution if it has been helpful.

Have a great day,
