RCA MODEK D52W17 Cant Get Any Remotes To Work This TV

Comment by justacruisen, posted on Jun 18, 2008 i have a RCA 52 inch wide screen model number D52W17 and i cant get any remote control to work this TV i even purchased another Orignal remote for my TV and it still doesnt work PLEASE HELP ME I AM DISABLED and this is a big problem for me

The remote receiver in the TV is failed. It is possible that a TV repair shop might be able to fix the problem for you

I have a RCA D52W17 rear projection T.V. When I turned the power on the green light flashed 3 times then shut off and now it won't go on at all.

Thanks for using FixYa. 3 blinks in your RCA D52W17 rear projection are caused due to 3 capacitors (CP114, 120 and 150) which are located on the deflection board. If any of these capacitors goes bad you’ll have to replace them with the exact same ones. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Remote control code for 32 inch lcd EMERSON TV
I succeeded is using the DirectTV remote control for the Emerson 42" plasma TV, by using a Samsung code. On my TV, was 10060. If this one does not work, there are a bunch of others that might work. Good luck

RCA D52W17 won't stay on.
Possiblility include bad convergence cuircit. A component that is overheating and bad solder connections.. Technicians can use special equipment to read error codes... this will tell them the error that is shutting it down

make sure you do not have the automatic screen mode set to wide screen on tv menu .Also if you have cable box set to wide mode only then the tv will only display wide mode.
