My girl took pics of wedding Saturday and viewed pics earlier today. When she went to look at them again, a message " Disc in Drive E is not formatted. Do you want to format disc now?" Of course we don't know whether to format or not and my girl is bout to freak. What should I do to increase my chances of getting wedding photos off disc? These were the only pic's takin at the wedding. Lock has not been moved. Disc is a PNY, 1GB, SD card.

Do not format -- you will lose the pictures

instead go to another computer that supports SD memory and CDRW. insert into that computer and then take all the PICS, save into that computer. now take a blank CD and take the saved PICs and burn into CD.
Also, to ensure you dont lose these pictures (PICs) you may want to buy a 4G or 8G USB thumb drive (about $10-$15 or less) -- drag and drop all the PICs (saved on that computer) into the USB thumb drive. Now you have on CD and USB drive.

hope this helps

Using my Canon SH Power Shot SX60 SH Camera, Today I to took a view more shots and it just keeps giving me the ERROR Message(memory card error)I have Valuable pic's on this card and now don't open up.

Your card may be full, or else corrupt. Either way, replace it immediately. If it can be read in your computer, copy all the photos to the hard drive. If not, then find a friendly computer-tech who can run image rescue software on it for you.

You're in safe hands. All right, first of all, I need you to try this out, please.

Go to your settings, and reformat your SD card. From your camera, NOT computer.

Try taking the picture now.

I'm having the same problem. It will still allow me to take video though. I don't know what's going on. I've cleared out my memory, and checked it under settings. Almost all of my memory is clear. I don't know why it's doing that. :(

You problem set your camera to use internal memory only. Set the memory function to memory card only and all pictures will go to the memory card until it is full. You can probably still transfer your pic files from internal memory to your card.
