You need to re-format your Flash Drive. The default is FAT32 which only allows files of up to 4GB to be transfered. If you reformat to NTFS, ANY size file can be copied to your FLASH DRIVE.

WARNING ! ! By reformatting, you will loose ALL your data on your Flash Drive. Good Luck

SanDisk 4GB thumb drive not recognized by my computer

Try any other computer but not open drive only see if they can read it. Also change USB port, sometimes some ports dont accept devices. Also check for latest antivirus software last such case viruses dont let me read any of my USB drives. If driver works to oter PC then you have virus.

Can't open the drive

Sometimes there is an issue assigning a drive letter. You can try to assign one via right clicking on My Computer and select Manage. Go down to Disk Management and find your USB drive. You can right click it to reassign it a different drive letter, one that is not being used. Hope that helps, let me know if this does not fix it, as there are more steps to try, just a bit complicated.
