I recently purchased a Nyko NetConnect adapter for my Wii. Before I opened it, a friend gave me an adapter that works just fine. Instead of returning the adapter I purchased, I want to know if it will work as a second network adapter for my laptop. Is the Nyko NetConnect adapter specifically for Wii or is it a generic network interface? Thanks for your help.

I have the same problem. It is not a sync issue. Can turn on wii console with Nyko controller, then go into Just Dance 2014. About 4 seconds later the Nyko behaves very strangely, makes some noises and turns off. Controller that comes with the Wii is fine, only the Nyko has problems, and only with Just Dance 2014. JD 2013 and all other games we have are perfectly fine.

Got you my friend. Unplug the console for about 10 minutes then plug back in. That reboots the system

1) Open the battery compartment and there should be a small circular red button.

2) Next to the Wii's SD storage area there is a rectangular square button.

3) Hold down the red button on the controller and the red button on the Wii until the light on the controller stops blinking.

Sometimes it can take multiple tries to "sync" the controller with the Wii. Keep trying until the lights stop blinking.

Open up the battery compartment and you should see a little button, the button is red on all the controllers I've seen personally. Press that and press the red button on the Wii behind the cover that comes open on the front of it. That should sync the controllers up and you should be good to go.

I have purchased this wand in the past and I found it to be very troublesome and prone to many issues.
The Nyko wands also had some that were not compatible with the Wii Motion Plus.
As for connecting your wand, what worked for me in the past is hold down the Sync button on the Wii and then hit the sync button on your wand. This is located usually under the battery cover.
This should connect the wand for you.

On the Wii menu, if you press home button, and click "Wii Remote Settings" then "Reconnect" it will enable you to connect wiimotes by pressing 1 and 2 simultaneously. Also some games, Wii sports for example, allow you to use one controller for two or more people.

rechargeable batteries are definitely a better bet. I have used many Wii battery packs and chargers, none seem to last very long.

logic 3 controllers are not good, return the logic 3 controller to the store and buy a NINTENDO wavebird instead, i bought mine used and it is perfectly fine. you might have the controller plugged into port (....[4]) instead of port ( . [1]) so try that or buy a wavebird instead ( if you ask me , buy the wavebird). I think my sister's friend's brother had the same problem. But he gave up on it. Probably faulty. Third party gamecube and wii accessories (excluding nyko) are bad or do not last very long.
