Please turn off the power on your printer and unplug it - Wait for thirty seconds and then plug it back it. Make sure you are not using any power converters, extensions and the likes (even surge protectors). Make sure you plug it in a known working outlet. Just in case, make sure that there's nothing sharing the power outlet. Most of the time, this error is just because the printer is not getting enough power.

Regards,
Will

My Lexmark X2670 has stopped printing on my MacBook and I receive the following error message Missing component: /Library/Printers/Lexmark/Drivers/.Resources/2600 Series Color 2.lut How do I fix this

go to applications, utilities, and open terminal in the window, paste this: open /Library/Printers/Lexmark/Drivers/.Resources/ It will open the folder where the missing component should be. You will find the "2600 Series Color 1.lut" file. Duplicate it and change the name to 2600 Series Color 2.lut close the folder, and shoot a print, it should work.

My 2600 laser printer have 55.1 error message its not working.

DC Controller error.
Turn printer off for 60 seconds. If it's plugged into a surge protector, plug the printer into a wall outlet. Power it on. If it works - good. If not check the firmware version and upgrade it if needed. Other wise replace the DC Controller.

Check the expiration date on the cartridge, you may just need a new one. The date is printed on the side of the cartridge. They also just go bad sometimes.

Lexmark 2600 printing problem

You might try deleting the printer from the 'Printers and faxes' folder in the Control Panel, reboot with the printer connected and turned on. Win should 'find' it again and reinstall the driver.
