Hi,
I just purchased a casio FX-9750G and I can't get it to turn on. I followed the "Before using the calculator for the first time instructions" and also tried to use the "P" button on the back, without success.
I tested the batteries that came with the calculator with other devices and they worked fine.
Is there anything else I can do?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I had the same problem too. I just bought it and I was trying to turn it on but it wouldn't though the manual said that it was supposed to automatically when the tab was pulled out. Good news: the Reset button on the back works. I pushed it for some time with the end of a toothpick and it worked.
hope it helps.
If you have pulled out the tab and it wont turn on, get a pin and push the reset button on the back the screen should say Memory cleared or something.
Well when u 1st bought it, you pulled the tab in the back right away i had the same problem w/ 3 of those calculators and i kept returning them. so my suggestion is if u could still return them and get the same 1 but this time read wat the tab says to do

I'm having the same problem. It's a huge pain for me to return it (way out of the city and I don't have a car) and I need it for school. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
My calculator works fine, I've had it for 2 years now. Today I went to use it, and it stopped working. I put in brand new batteries, the same type I used before, and it still won't turn on. I need it!
Same deal here. New batteries, but no life. Brand new calc.
I have the same problem.
