I bought the system second hand and did not get the remote

first and foremost,do you know how to operate your universal remote control?refer to it`s manual...look for that unit`s brand if it is also included to the unit that this remote control can command.if it included,look for the codes below it and try to follow the steps/methode of using this codes.example;:; 1-press the search button for 3 seconds until the led stop blinking or start to blink 2-press the unit(tv`s,dvd,ref,a/c,etc...) 3-put the 3 or 4 codes ,4- etc....

Hi,your hifi is going into demo mode.Find the demo button on the remote and hold down for a few seconds.Should deactivate the demo mode.Goodluck

As far as the overheating problem, check the fan relay switch.The alarm should be as easy as changing the remote battery. For the radio try replacing the fuse, this should get you going.

if the battery was replaced or any terminals removed, you may have lost the tach programming for the remote starter. Goto http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/bdnew/installmanuals.asp and look for the remote start unit you have in the manuals and it will tell ya how to reprogram the tach memory.

found something that is causing the IR to not responded to the system
