Suddenly the sound in my headset is not transferred and remains in the phone. The connectivity is working and the sound of an 'open line' can be heard, but the actually ringing tone, engaged tone etc is stll in the phone????

You may try this, but it may make no difference so please don't take it hard.
When you are in the transfer sound menu of your phone, press and hold the key on your headset for five full seconds.
You may also have to go through the connect to device menu all over again and choose remove device and then add device, the pin code is usually all zeros.
