To Log Into System Programming:
Press FEATURE * * 2 6 6 3 4 4
Enter Password: 2 6 6 3 4 4 Display will read: " A. Configuration"
Using the navigation keys, as displayed below, follow the next simple steps:
Press: NEXT Display will read: "B. General Admin"
Press: SHOW Display will read: "1. Sys speed dial"
Press: NEXT Display will read: "2. Names"
Press: SHOW Display will read: "1. Sys speed dial"
Press: NEXT Display will read: "2. Names"
Press the SHOW Display will read: "Set names"
Press: SHOW Display will read: "Show set:__"
Enter the extension number of which you wish to change the name Display will read: "<##:name>"
Press the CHANGE softkey
Using the dial pad spell out the name Ex: If you need the letter K press the 5 key twice and then press # to confirm the letter. Continue until the entire first name is spelled. (note: you are limited to 7 characters)
Press: NEXT (if you fail to do this step, the name will not be saved!!!)
Press the RLS key

Our norstar m7310 phone will not accept incoming calls
Hi guys, i hope everything ok with you all, the reason i contacting with you is, im live in Tampa Florida by the Tampa International Airport and i do have my own company, but there is anyone who wants to throw away or wanted give it away for free the Norstar Phones M7310 M7324 T7316e and if you have also the Norstar systems 6x16 or 3x8 and doesn't wanted anymore at all because you buy a differents phones and systems or something happen you can donated to us and i can go personal and get it, please we just have 7 oldest M7310 since 1989 and 2 of them starting giving me problems, and i trying many different ways and making a lot phones calls, and there is no Technical Support can help me at all, please there is somebody who live in Tampa or near to Tampa can donated to us the Norstar telephones and the Norstar Systems 6x16 or 3x8 beside throw it away please, there is somebody available, no matter how is the Norstar Meridian telephones looks like and same with the Norstar systems if long is working fine and in good or better or perfect conditions we can accept that with all our heart. Thank you guys you can e-mail me at [email protected] please leave me your details and name and your phone number for i can contact to you right away, and your address in case its ok by you to stop by where you are, for we can met, i need your help, im so despair to resolve this situation. Name Display
The voicemail name and the phone system name come from two different places. Your system manager should be able to reprogram the phone system to change names.

Reset Norstar M7310 System Administration password
This works, i just did it today!!

Press Feature 985
Press the 9 Key
Enter RESETSMPSWD (73738767793) using the dialpad
Press YES
Once you have RESET the password, it reverts to the default.
See Below
If your system uses 2 digit extensions use 120000
If your system uses 3 digit extensions use 1020000
If your system uses 4 digit extensions use 10020000

Call Customer Service 1-8O5-465-751O To Fix Issue Norstar M7310 corded telephone
  1. Press feature
  2. Type **266344
  3. On password type 266344 (wont show the numbers as you putting them in)
  4. Terminal + extns will appear, press line 6
  5. Find ext number, type number and the name will show up
  6. Press line 6, line access will appear
  7. Press line 7 twice and change will appear
  8. Enter the name then press line 1
End session and save

worked for me, hope it helps
